August's Monthly Movie Night features "The Tomorrow Man," a compelling drama directed by Noble Jones and starring John Lithgow, Blythe Danner, and Derek Cecil!
It’s that time again! Come celebrate and support indie film at the 2018 Gig Harbor Film Festival this September 26th-29th! Featuring over 100 films, this year’s festival will showcase the incredible work of over 80 filmmakers from around the world! In addition to the films, we’ll be outdoing ourselves once again with our post-screening filmmaker Q&A sessions and spirited parties, all of which are open to everyone.
Join us at the Gig Harbor Brewing Co. Downtown Taproom for some cinematic socialization and trivia with a generous side of suds. What better way to flex your brain and beer drinking muscles all at once? This month’s Trivia Night With Chris and Brad will be on October 15th at 5:30pm. Stop by, have some suds, and then enjoy some music in the park! Gig Harbor Film Festival members will enjoy $3 off each beer purchased during Trivia Night. Prizes and GHFF swag will be available for winners. Get your teams of 1-4 ready!
A comedy about Hitler? Well, not exactly. Our January monthly movie night tells the story of a German boy named Jojo who discovers his mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl in their attic. As a member of the Nazi party, Jojo is forced to re-evaluate his world view with the help of his imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler. Jojo Rabbit is a dramatic satire that is at times genuinely funny while deftly confronting some of history’s most terrible times.
