Join us Monday June 27th at 6:30pm for "Montana Story" From the acclaimed writer/directors Scott McGehee and David Siegel comes a neo-Western with an emotional tremor hiding beneath it. Two estranged siblings (Haley Lu Richardson, Owen Teague) return home to the sprawling ranch they once knew and loved, confronting a deep and bitter family legacy against a mythic American backdrop.
Our long intermission has come to a close! We are celebrating with our first auction in three years and hope that you can join us. Our GHFF fundraiser will take place at the Canterwood Clubhouse on Friday, July 1 from 5-9pm. The GHFF is know for epic films and parties and that’s what we’re bringin! We’ll be featuring a live auction with Jim Borgen, elegant plated dinner with open bar, and lots of energy and laughter. Tickets are $150 each. Three Minutes - A Lengthening presents a home movie shot by David Kurtz in 1938 in a Jewish town in Poland and tries to postpone its ending. As long as we are watching, history is not over yet. The three minutes of footage, mostly in color, are the only moving images left of the Jewish inhabitants of Nasielsk before the Holocaust. The existing three minutes are examined to unravel the human stories hidden in the celluloid. The footage is imaginatively edited to create a film that lasts more than an hour.
