Mark your calendars for the next Monday Movie Night!  Monday, November 24th at 6:30pm, we invite you to a special screening of Don’t Let’s Go to the Dogs Tonight

Based on the best-selling memoir of the same name, Don’t Let’s Go to the Dogs Tonight depicts 8-year-old Bobo’s life on her family’s Rhodesian farm during the final stages of the Bush Wars. The film explores the family’s unbreakable bond with Africa’s land and the war’s impact on the region and individuals, as seen through the eyes of a child.

In her captivating directorial debut, Embeth Davidtz, who also stars in the film, draws a wildly energetic performance from her young lead, Lexi Venter. With the support of an incredible ensemble cast, Davidtz crafts a thought-provoking story that explores a complex chapter in Africa’s history, told— thorns and all—from the perspective of a little girl.

(This film is rated R.)
