We’re Having a Poster Contest!
This year, we’re giving artists of all ages and abilities the opportunity to design our 2020 Gig Harbor Film Festival poster! The winning design will be featured on all of our promotional materials for the entire year, and the winning artist will receive an Annual Membership for Two for the 2020 GHFF Season (that’s a $1000 value)!
Official Contest Rules
-Artwork must be submitted by Monday, December 2, 2019
-Artwork must be original work of the submitter
-Artwork must be sized to fit within our 11×17” poster and be delivered as a useable, high resolution file such as .pdf, .jpg, or .ai
-Submit artwork to operations@gigharborfilmfestival.org with your name, phone number and email address
-Design adjustments/sizing of the artwork to fit our poster and alternate formats (e.g. postcards and digital versions) will be at the sole discretion of the GHFF (Gig Harbor Film Festival)
-Artwork must include the Gig Harbor Film Festival’s logo (as seen on our website), the festival dates (September 24-27, 2020), the festival website address (gigharborfilm.org), and festival location (Galaxy Theatre, Uptown Gig Harbor)
-The winning artwork will be announced Monday, December 16, 2019.
-Artist of winning artwork will receive a Membership for 2 for the 2020 GHFF Season, valued at approximately $1000. Voucher not valid for refunds or exchanges. No cash value.
-Winning artwork will become the property of GHFF to be used solely for promotional purposes.
-Winning artwork cannot be used for sale or other purposes by the artist. Artist relinquishes rights for use solely to the GHFF.
-Winning Artwork will appear on the 2020 GHFF Poster, website, social media platforms, and other marketing and merchandising materials for the festival.
-Hints on content: the mission of the Gig Harbor Film Festival is to cultivate a community of filmmakers and film-lovers who come together to celebrate the power of cinematic storytelling. Artwork should feature some aspect(s) of Gig Harbor and, of course, film. Artistic license in conveying those components is welcome and encouraged.
