Step 2: How to Fest – Your Ticket Options Explained
Festival films are shown in “Blocks”. A block consists of either a feature length film or a series of short films. If filmmakers are present for the screening, there is usually a Q&A or panel discussion held in the theater immediately following the film presentation. The Official Schedule, which you can view here on our website or in print at the theatre, will indicate the blocks where the filmmakers are scheduled to be in attendance.
Tickets can be purchased as Single Blocks and used for any block during the festival except for Opening Night, which requires the purchase of a specific Opening Night ticket. Individual tickets may also be purchased for any of the parties with the exception of the Friday Night Meet the Filmmakers Party which is open only to VIP Pass holders.
VIP Pass: $288 ($230 Seniors (65+)/Military) Includes passes to all of the above: films, the Opening Night Film & Afterparty, the Beast Bus Grill & Chill, the Awards Ceremony, Seattle Seahawks Beast Bus, and an open invitation to the Kiwanis VIP Lounge. VIP Pass holders have first access (15 mins prior to general admission) to all film blocks.
Entry to our Opening Night requires either a VIP Pass or an Opening Night Film & Afterparty ticket. Single Block Tickets will not be valid for opening night. You must present either a VIP Pass or an Opening Night Film & Afterparty ticket for entry. Seating will be first come, first served with VIP Pass holders entering the theatre 15 minutes prior to general admission. The Q&A with the filmmaker and special guests will be held immediately after the screening with the fully catered afterparty to follow at 7 Seas Taproom.
