DESCRIPTION:Given the huge turnout at the 2018 Competition’s screening event\, this year’s submissions will be shown in the IMAX theatre.   \nThis much larger venue will allow for our enthusiastic community of supporters to share the thrill of seeing the creative work of their friends and families all together in the same space. After the films have been shown\, there will be a short break for refreshments in the lobby.  The audience will then be invited to take their seats once more for the presentation of the awards and conclusion of the competition.  \n

DESCRIPTION:Looking for something fun to brighten the dark days of winter?  The Gig Harbor Film Festival’s 72-Hour Filmmaking Competition offers an opportunity for families and friends of all ages to get inspired and flex their creative muscle through the art of film.   \nFilmmakers compete within the age categories of 13 and under\, 14-18\, and 19 and up.
