SUMMARY:FEBRUARY Monday Movie Night- TRAIN DREAMS
DESCRIPTION:We would like to invite you to join us Monday\, February 23rd at 6:30pm\, for a screening of Train Dreams at the Galaxy Theatres in Gig Harbor. This breathtaking film was shot in our own backyard! Set in the Pacific Northwest\, in the early 20th Century\, key filming locations include Spokane\, Tekoa\, Snoqualmie\, Metaline Falls\, and Colville. \nBased on Denis Johnson’s beloved novella\, Train Dreams is the moving portrait of Robert Grainier\, a logger and railroad worker who leads a life of unexpected depth and beauty in the rapidly changing America of the early 20th Century. \nHailed as astonishingly beautiful\,  haunting\, heartbreaking\, and easily Joel Edgerton’s greatest performance of his career.\nThe film has gained significant awards momentum\, recently landing four Oscar nominations\, including Best Picture\, Best Adapted Screenplay\, Best Cinematography\, and Best Original Song.
