Pat Nagle, President
Pat is the Founder and Owner of the Harmon Brewing Company as well as the Hub Restaurants. He was born and raised in Tacoma and now lives in Gig Harbor with his wife Tina and 4 kids.
An active family, Pat leads them on regular skiing, hiking and kayaking trips as well as beachcombing outside their front door.
Festival Board President for the previous 3 years, he’s actively involved in multiple community events.
Pat’s favorite films are Caddy Shack and The Shawshank Redemption.
Dennis Minor, Vice President
Dennis is the founder of Blue Highway Productions. With over 35 years experience as a Creative Producer/Director filmmaker, he specializes in international advertising, marketing and human interest storytelling.
He and his wife Donna along with their standard Poodles, now call Gig Harbor home after moving here 3 years ago from the island nation of Malta… somewhere out in the Mediterranean.
His favorite films are Scarface and SpongeBob Square Pants and everything in between.
Joe Jackowski, Secretary
Joe is a retired Attorney with 32 years of experience in both private practice and as in-house counsel at Weyerhaeuser. His expertise included commercial and toxic tort litigation, environmental regulatory, and mergers & acquisitions.
Married to Laurel Hinrichs, he’s lived in Gig Harbor for 34 years, and has a daughter, Hannah who followed in his footsteps as a lawyer.
Golf, gardening, reading and fly fishing take up his free time and he loves good, creative, sci-fi movies.
Peter Morkill, Treasurer
Peter has been a real estate and student housing investor for 40 years. Now semi-retired, he is re-establishing his love of art and dusting off his Univ. of Oregon art-major degree into an award winning Sculpture and Portrait painting pastime.
Having lived with his wife Elizabeth in Gig Harbor for 30 years, boating, skiing, golfing and the film festival take up the rest of his free time.
His favorite film is The Birds since he has a fascination about crows attacking humans.
Betty is a Founding Board Member as well as an active participant with the Film Festival for the past 10 years. As owner of Life Skills, a youth oriented program that teaches kids how to resist negative peer pressure, Betty has trained thousands of teenagers across the country.
She and her husband Robert are long time residents of Gig Harbor, and she loves the outdoors, ballroom dancing, sports, and gardening.
Betty's favorite movies are Gone with the Wind and La-La Land.
Kathy Davis Hayfield
Kathy is the owner of multiple restaurants including The Boat Shed, Yacht Club Broiler and Manette Yacht Club. An outgoing community activist, she has been a Festival Board Director for many years as well as Rotary member and Past Chair of the Community in Schools Peninsula Foundation.
Along with her “charming” husband Brett, she is an avid boater, gardener and skier.
Her favorite film is the Sound of Music since as a child, she has imagined herself to be a singing nun.
After a professional aviation career with the Navy, Delta Airlines and a 747 check pilot for Boeing, Warren is currently the Northwest Mountain Regional Manager for AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association). He has also served in several non-profit organizations and been actively involved in local government positions.
Still an active general aviation pilot, Warren loves movies, sailing, and being dad to three tremendous daughters who teach him something new every day.
Jeff was Founder/CEO of Metagenics, a nutrigenomics and lifestyle medical company. He retired in 2010 and is a Board Director. Now a private equity investor with Katke Holdings, LLC, Jeff also provides management consulting and mentoring.
He and his wife Kate live in Gig Harbor and are avid skiers, golfers and enjoy hiking with their chocolate labs, wine and travel.
His movie tastes run the gamut from Gandhi and Forest Gump to Brave heart and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.
Jane is a practicing attorney of 31 years focusing on land use and real property issuesA Board Member for many years, she has been instrumental in helping define the Festival’s long term direction.
Besides the Film Festival, she has been actively involved in many Gig Harbor community organizations including the Chamber of Commerce and the Harbor History Museum Board of Directors.
Jane is married to Roy Humphries and has a daughter Amy.
